What to Expect in a Weekend Sprint

The Weekend Sprint is a 72-hour intensive that produces architecture specification, working prototype, and roadmap — delivered by Monday afternoon. Here's the full picture of what preparation is required, what happens each day, and exactly what gets handed off.

Before the sprint: preparation

You'll receive a preparation brief 48 hours before the sprint begins. It asks for: a written description of the problem (not the solution), access to any existing data sources or systems we'll connect to, any technical constraints, and context on who will continue development after handoff.

The preparation brief is important. The sprint doesn't start from zero — it starts from the context you provide. Clients who spend an hour on the brief get substantially better output than clients who don't.

Friday: architecture and kickoff

Kickoff call (1–2 hours). We walk through your preparation brief, ask clarifying questions, and define the architecture together. By the end of Friday, the architecture specification is drafted: entities, agent schema, integration contracts, data model.

You'll be asked to review and confirm the architecture before Saturday work begins. This confirmation step is not optional — it's how we ensure we're building the right thing.

Saturday: build

Core development against the confirmed architecture. Prototype built. Integration connections established. Knowledge model populated. Agent tools wired. End of day: checkpoint with a working (if rough) prototype.

You're available for async questions on Saturday. Expect 2–3 messages to confirm design decisions. We don't need calls — messages work better.

Sunday: finalize and document

Prototype hardened. Documentation written. Roadmap completed. Repository organized. README written for the developer who will continue the work.

The documentation is not perfunctory. It's a full architecture document explaining the design decisions, the ontology, the agent schema, and the recommended next steps. Someone who wasn't in the sprint should be able to pick it up on Monday morning.

Monday: delivery and walkthrough

Live walkthrough (1–2 hours). We walk through every deliverable: the architecture specification, the prototype, the knowledge model, the roadmap. Questions answered. Repository transferred.

You own everything from that point forward. No ongoing license, no platform dependency, no "you need us to continue."
